The origins.
The Camoscio Hotel, better known originally as "Pensione Camoscio", was founded in 1970 by Mr Bellino Barbana and his wife Grazia, who after having worked as managers in Nevegal, begin a new work experience. This activity was strongly suggested by the opening of the Marmolada cableway station in 1967, which allowed tourists arrived in our valley to go up over 3,000 meters to admire a beautiful landscape at 360°. In 1972 was founded also a ski school, where Mr Bellino hold his second job as ski instructor, activity that will last many years. In fact, the skiing is practiced both in winter and summer season.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Grazia dedicated herself to the culinary art, Italian and mainly local specialties, creating her own traditional recipes. Since 1970 to today many things have changed: the family increased by three sons, the house was enlarged and considerably improved to give our loyal guests a satisfying welcome.
Today we want to thank them warmly, and remind them that the Hotel management did not change.
